Located in Currie Community Centre, The Bees Knees Nursery is at the heart of the community. We are incredibly lucky to have such beautiful local areas to explore.

The Bees Knees Nursery caters for children from 7 months to school age leavers. Our 19 place setting offers a cosy place for children to play and learn while building essential skills for life.

We have a dedicated staff team who are passionate about early learning and childcare who regularly take part in training and staff meetings. Most of our staff are allocated to a room although to cover staff holidays this may change occasionally. Fortunately, because we are a smaller nursery we take part in lots of mixed age play. This has many benefits, one being that all children and staff are familiar with each other.

Sessions and Opening Hours

We are open from 7.30am until 5.30pm Monday to Friday. We offer Full day sessions and can offer half days sessions as extra sessions when availability allows. We have a 2 day minimum bookings policy.

At The Bees Knees Nursery, we strive to provide a nurturing and inspiring environment for our learners. We are passionate about the opportunities and experiences we provide and incorporate nature and the outdoor environment in our everyday learning.

As we are a smaller nursery, we are able to create a unique environment where all staff and children are able to enjoy experiences together and grow from regular mixed age play.

We strive to accommodate a homely environment where children feel supported and have the freedom to express themselves through their play, learning and nurturing interactions.
